The Blumat Tropf system is designed specifically for outdoor plants, on a large scale. It’s an ancient clay technology, originating from Northern Africa and China, with a modern twist. This kit has everything you’ll need to automatically water and grow six healthier, more potent, and faster-growing plants.

How the technology works
The porous clay, known as the Carrot, draws the water from a reservoir, via the thin pipe and releases water into your plants soil, according to the plant’s specific watering needs. You’ll never have to worry about over or under-watering your plant. It is easily installed with a pair of scissors and connects directly to your reservoir.

If the soil is too wet, the Blumat will stop watering and once it starts drying out, the Blumat will start watering again. Essentially, this product does all the heavy lifting for you. It’s incredibly reliable for watering all plants of all sizes. Perfect for home growers that have a busy schedule, go away on holiday quite often or struggle to know when it is the right time to water.

The 25 L water reservoir allows for an electricity-free, gravity-fed automatic plant watering system. The reservoir is already drilled and fitted with an adapter to hook up to your Blumat system, just fill it with water.

The Plant Matter Grow Bags have a porous fabric that allows for considerable air pruning and breathability which encourages bigger plants and higher yields compared to traditional plastic pots, perfect for vegetable gardens, bushes, flower and greenhouse containers.

Please note: This system does not include a Pressure Reducer or water source. A pressure reducer is needed if you are connecting your system to a threaded spigot, such as your hose/home water supply or the spigot on a rain barrel or reservoir. Reservoirs should be at least 1 metre above ground-level.
